Missing blocks again?

My understanding is that Mika and dNet are on the same daily cycle, right? That is, a day (from 00:00 to 23:59) is the same time period as a day on dNet. Is this true?

So, I know that I did no randoms yesterday, and I am out about 3k blocks again... anyone know what's up? :|

Hi GeoffS, I have a difference also, but only ~300 Blocks. I sent a batch in about 5:30 PM CST (23:30 UT), I was assuming that only part of my last flush of the day made it in time for dNet's cutoff. Of course, I will not know until tomorrow. When did you send the 3,000 block that you think are lost?

The closer you get to turnover time (0000 GMT), the more likely you'll have a mismatch. Because of when I get home from work, I frequently get half of a dump credited on "today" and half on "tomorrow".

Some of the missing is probably due to other people doing randoms...

The rest probably didn't make it through the pipe to the keymaster before the end of day cut off. Anything sent within the last two hours before end of day has a chance of not making it to the keymaster in time... But they do show up the next day.
