I had to leave this afternoon so i missed the game. BUT i had it set to DVR!

So i spend all day making sure i do not find out the score or anything. So i get home grab a sandwich and a cold beer and sit down in front of the TV.

my wife ask how my day was and i tell her crappy and that i just wanted to watch the bears and relax. she says oh then this will cheer you up! the bears win 41-10!

man i wanted to cry.

Well the bears led 41-0 at the half, so it wasn't exactly a suspenseful game.

yeah they had what 20+ in the first quarter?

24-0 before the 1st quarter was finished. 🙁

Most by a Bears team in the 1st Q I believe.

yeah all on turnovers also i think.

been watching it on Fast foreword heh

hehe, in lieu of this game, the battle of the horses game was friggin awesome. Too bad I heard it over car radio. i was slapping myself in the face for not being able to see it on TV 🙁

think i have that one DVR'd also. but heard the ending on the radio heh

My wife rules.. She goes in and makes sure the game is cued up and ready to go and doesn't tell me anything.

Of course, this rarely happens because it is a ritual around my house that on Thursday my wife asks me "What time is Michigan playing on Saturday?" so she doesn't commit me to something during the game. 😀
