I saw some of those but where is the outrage and widespread call for her resignation by the FNM? This will all blow over and next week no-one will ever bring it up again 😕

Did you look for it? There are numerous articles of people calling for her to resign.

This is like the people who ignore the responses from all the Muslim groups when something happens so they can complain about them never speaking out.

It will go no further than it has. I am not outraged, she said something stupid a few of the left are posturing a little bit and will forgive and forget.

I do think The President says stupid things as well and these get run into the ground by the FNM .....

The thread title would make more sense if the name of the poster was "Chalenger" then you could just play it off as being consistent with your theme.

As for the thread topic itself. It shows how easily these things can escalate, and how being part of a movement can allow who you are to get swept up into it. This senator lost herself for a moment by being swept into all the emotions she is feeling from this situation. Similar to how the neo-nazis have more or less permanently lost themselves - save for something like American History X happening to one of them, they have lost who they were to the movement.

She also deleted it and apologized and have very little power in the grand scheme of things. Trump doubles and triples down on everything, refused to admit he has ever made a mistake and has great amounts of power.

I personally think she should resign the day after Trump does. I am sick and tried of dems acting and expecting to act like mature adults, while republicans act like big children and never call for the resignation of anyone on their side.
