I told the guy to fix it, here is his response;


Me: You need to clarify your auction as I severely doubt that is a T30 with a Pentium M. It's either a T40 and above or it's a T30 and that is no Pentium M. Let Ebay know that you've got a listing problem or I will do it for you.

Him: Are you sane? Check it out at zdnet.com and look at specs. Go nibble someone elses ankle

Go fix it. There is a difference between P4-M and Pentium M.

Him: Pentium 4M M means Mobil as to Speedstep technology for longer battery life only used in laptops. Pentium Centrino is also a Pentium 4M
with Centrino technology especially for wireless

So I reported him to ebay, unfortunately I don't think there is enough time for ebay to do anything about it.... 🙁 Pure ignorance or a cheat/liar?

You mean lack there of? Ebay is total bull sh1t, they steal people's money while it costs a fraction of that to host the site, they do nothing to traffic the site and make it legit while they collect all of the profits. :| It really ticks me off that ebay is like this, they're a tyranny, they take your money and don't help you. 🙁

I know but the title is entirely misleading with the sub description as well, it's only in the description where it specifies the *actual* processor. I find it funny that he directed me to ZDNET for the specifications yet he was wrong...

I think the auction is no longer misleading now that your statement has been posted at the bottom of it - people should get the general idea.
 
i have to say intel blew it on naming their pentium chips. that shvt is confusing. at least they are finally going the video card route with ###
