If you already played the demo and decided it sucks, why would a online game review change your mind? Would a perfect 10 score suddenly make you wanna go out and buy the game?

It's decent but I think EA and DICE should be commended for trying something different. I enjoyed the demo and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to have Faith running, jumping, and sliding across rooftops. The combat (what little of it there is) just needed to be tightened up.

I thought the demo was really awesome and I can see it being fun to try to get the fastest times, sort of like the training level in COD4. I will wait and get it on the cheap though since there is no mp and no reason for me to rush out and get it.

Yeah, I was surprised about this. Think about how cool it would be to have 4-8 people racing across rooftops, trying to avoid the law, to see who could reach a goal in a certain amount of time. Have multiple paths available, etc. Could be fun.

Same. I'd gladly pick this up at $30, maybe even $40. But not $60. I loved the demo.

My thoughts exactly.

With nowhere near the hype. I hadn't heard of this game until a week ago. Assasin's creed, I heard about that over a year in advance and it was my most looked-forward to game. I hated it.

Depends on what circles you're hanging out in, I suppose. I know a lot of folks were very much looking forward to Mirror's Edge, and this is going to be disappointing to them. Personally, I was not terribly enthused about the game, since it sounded like a perfect recipe for giving me motion sickness (which Ars Technica's review seemed to verify).

Still, it doesn't sound _terrible_, just that they reached a little too far. If they had simply released this as a $20 arcade game, screw the combat, make it all races and exploration, it might have gone over far better.

I played the demo last week and actually enjoyed it. I will be getting this soon. And as others have pointed out AC was hyped to death and was meh at best. I like the Parkour concept and dig the game (demo) and will go in with the frame of mind that it is what it is.
