Mirror Super Flower 550W Power Supply@Directron $39.99

I got in on the last deal..

brough one to go with my pny 6800

no problems, not too load,

but then again I'm not one to ask.. currently have 10 fans running in the pc now..

yes 10 fans... (4 intake 80mm, 2 exhaust 92mm, 1 80mm on HSF duct, 3 80mm on this PSU)..

its not really that load, but I have a big house, and my own computer lab/room. I just crank the surround and jam.. 🙂

Might just buy another on at this price.. hmmm

This isn't a modular supply. Nowadays, with all of the modular options out there and considering that is the direction PSUs are headed, this is a big factor. Nice try though, OP.

Man....a 550W power supply for a computer....makes you think about leaving that thing running 24/7 doesn't it? The power company's gotta love this trend...I mean that's like running a small microwave oven constantly.

Be careful when you order this, I had it in my cart and almost bought it when I noticed that they may substitute other colors without notice, and that green one is way ugly unless you have a camo theme computer

Looks like you can select the option to have them cancel the order if your color selection is not available.

These are actually pretty quiet the fans barely spin on low, but its an older model for 550w it dont offer much of a +12 line compaired to newer psus

i'm not really sure if you really think that a lot of fans = amd or you're jsut making fun, but anyway since when were p4 temps that much better than amd temps 😵;;

FYI.. .I purchased a superflower 450w from them (the 3 fan variant) and it literally burned up 4 of my motherboards...

just cuz you have a 550w psu doesnt mean it uses 550w all the time. it only uses that much if your computer needs that much, which is when there are a dozen things all running at once and under load (when gpu/cpu running at 100 percent)

if you just have one mobo/cpu/hdd/cdrom/vid card...its not gona utilize all 550w, so your only using whatever your computer is utilizing.

I have the 4 fan, 450 watt version of this power supply. Its worked perfectly powering my 3500+ along with a 6800GT. Its not too quiet, but its not too loud either.

Uh, prior to the Prescott and A64 and mobile AXP? My Prescott has gotten up to over 80ºC. Talk about a heater!!!

That's unfortunate. I got in on a TTGI 350W deal with the 14cm fan and I love it. Too bad these are tough to find, especially in higher wattage.

and it has a little button in the back to turn down the fans if u like it quieter... just be careful, the same little button also turns the fans up and makes it loud... and if u press the button just right it will make the fan go on in the middle where it's juuuust right... it can get confusing, but the leds change colors to help u...

Same with me. I have the TTGI 350w on my current system. No problems so far. I bought mine for $25. I have my XP-M 2400 OC'ed to 2.44GHz. My voltage on the 12v according to MBM runs around 11.4v. My 2.44GHz system is 28hrs. Prime95 stable.
