When people share there mp3s. Is there something out there that lets you automate the process of downloading mp3s from someones list?

Thanks

if you're looking to download a group of mp3's by the same artist, i would try and find a bot with a zipped up file. try and avoid the fserve's that are usually clogged and only send 1 track at a time and you can only be queued for 1 track.

In mIRC 6.xx:

1. File > Options > DCC:

Select "Auto-get file".

2. Cut and paste to the IRC bot the track that you wish to get. Example:

!sully Weezer - Weezer - 01 - My Name Is Jonas.mp3
!sully Weezer - Weezer - 02 - No One Else.mp3
!sully Weezer - Weezer - 03 - The World Has Turned And Left Me Here.mp3
!sully Weezer - Weezer - 04 - Buddy Holly.mp3
!sully Weezer - Weezer - 05 - Undone-The Sweater Song.mp3

Problem lie in the area of IRC bots only allowing you to queue a specific number of files at one time...you could script a response to a "mp3 file send complete" message the bot undoubtably sends you when you finish receiving one file (thus freeing up a queue slot) but that would have to be customized.

Search for "on TEXT" in your mIRC Help section. It's pretty simple.

There are many scripts available for mIRC. I happen to use Re nren's fserv navigator which also handles xdcc. If anyone know's of something better, please pm me!
