Why are you watching the show? It's because its touching, and it gives people a reason to watch. Do you REALLY think ABC gives half a damn about what happens to these people in real life? It's an easy, cheap way for them to make money, and they exploit these people to do so.

What really upsets me about this show has nothing to do with the show, so it is a bit OT, but it proves that people who live with such diseases in poor areas don't really have to live with them, but money restricts them from living a normal life. It's sad, how this world works.

I agree, although ABC is going to spend money on a show to fill the time spot regardless. I'd rather they spend money on the people exploited in "Miracle Workers" than another drama-filled, senseless reality show that dumbs down society by exploiting the worst qualities in people.

I watched a bit of the program, and thought the medical procedures they explained and performed were incredible. Medical advancements keep getting better and better, it should be exciting to see what happens in the near future.
