Miracle Temperture drop! By just reversing some fans!

I searched everywhere and tryed everything from reversing the fan on the side to adding 2 fans to the heatsink and it screamed like a banshee because I was getting such high temps such as 51c idle/58c full load with prime95.... and I was like WTF i have the second best Heatsink on the market... then in the end... in the back...i reversed the 2 panaflo H1As in the back from being exhaust to being intakes and my CPU temps dropped from 51c idle/58c full load to 41c idle/49c full load... amazing a 10c temperature drop.... also my case temps full load dropped from 33c to 26c... a 7c case temp drop....so for those people who are getting awfully high cpu and case temps try reversing the fans in the back and side...intake is more important i found out..this is because the cold air in the read blows in and my cpu/heatsink/hs-fan is right there and it gets the cold air being blow in and swallows it.. that produces such low temps... my current fan setup is 1 Panaflo L1A 120mm intake/ 1 80mm Power Logic exhaust in side and top/ 2 Panaflo H1As intake in back

I seriously doubt you can rely on those as being real--actual results. I mean, 10 degrees Celcius is way too crazy... I wonder where the temp sensors are on your board.

If it's really cold air flowing in from the back, a 10 degrees drop is practical. If it's just warm air, the drop would be around 3-6 celcius.

did i mention i put my computer under the air conditioner in ceiling so cold air is blowing at the rear... and my ambient room temperature is 69F?

MasterHoss, thats not true. The Idea of air presure in a case has been around for a LONG time. I find that wth AMD systems, using the air presure Idea is the only way to half-way quietly cool the hot beasts. I myself saw an 8c drop in temps when I pointed all my fans to blow air into the case. You pretty much use the PS for exaust.
