Miracast (Android 4.2)

Any idea how to get this to work? Or if anything exists to get it to work with existing monitors? I'd love to get this working with my Nexus 7.

not yet clear whether the nexus 7 will support it. you will also need a miracast capable receiver, none are commercially available yet (some pre-certification ones from netgear are available, but those won't work with final hardware like the nexus 4 until they get a firmware update)

Miracast requires specific hardware on the sending device I believe.
Nexus 7 is Tegra 3; which supposedly supports Miracast?

So no hardware or adapters are out yet? I couldn't find much on it other than people talking about the tech.

nvidia has said that T3 will support it, but hasn't delivered on that as yet. The android 4.2 update for the N7 did not enable miracast functionality. as of now, the only devices that has it is the nexus 4, optimus g, and galaxy s3.

here's a list of everything certified as a miracast receiver. hopefully some of these products should hit the market before too long.
