Minutemen Recuting Blacks in Los Angeles . . .

Yeah, like they really are going out of thier way to embrace the Black Community.
A community that recognizes them for the shills that they are.

A warm and loving crowd that shouted encouragement to them with things like,
"Minutemen go home!" and "KKK go home!"

<Insideous Clip>

Leaders of the Minuteman Project began a cross-country tour Wednesday to seek support for tighter border security, launching a caravan
to the nation's capital from a heavily black neighborhood where many residents shouted at the civilian patrol group to go home.

Minuteman leaders started the trip from a black neighborhood as part of a push to attract more blacks as members.

"If we are going to be giving preference to anybody, preference should go to the American-African community
that has suffered more than anybody," Minuteman founder Jim Gilchrist said.

But the event provoked screaming matches about whether illegal immigrants were taking jobs from blacks or should be embraced as fellow minorities seeking a better life.

Gilchrist had to yell over a dozen black protesters, most of them black, who chanted "Minutemen go home!" and "KKK go home!"

Gilchrist repeatedly stopped his speech to address the protesters, telling them: "Ours is not a racial cause. It's a rule-of-law cause."

Gilchrist then boarded an RV and left. His vehicle was followed from the park by two other RVs and a few cars.

Organizers hoped the trip would help counter marches staged Monday around the nation by more than 1 million people demanding amnesty for illegal immigrants.

The caravan plans to stop in President Bush's Texas vacation haven of Crawford, as well as Phoenix, Albuquerque, N.M.; Abilene; Little Rock, Ark.; Memphis, Tenn.; Nashville, Tenn.; Birmingham, Ala.; Atlanta; Greensboro, N.C.; and Richmond, Va.

While many black Americans live at the lower end of the economic scale and are the most hurt by illegal immmigrants, blacks are very conscious of racism.
And the movement against illegal immigration DOES attract racists.

If it were Koreans instead of Mexicans they were keeping out the Black Community would join in droves.

. . and that's a fact, Jack !
There's quite a bit of culture acceptance between Hispanics and Blacks - but not Koreans.

Reported from Lost Angeles

And off they go into the Sunrise, in search of the lilly-livered, like-minded cowards that support thier paranoia.

Gilchrist repeatedly stopped his speech to address the protesters, telling them: "Ours is not a racial cause. It's a rule-of-law cause."

You could drop this guy into many different eras and it would sound the same.
Return of run away slaves to the south - "Ours is not a racial cause. It's a rule-of-law cause."
Stopping blacks from voting with Jim Crow laws - "Ours is not a racial cause. It's a rule-of-law cause."
Segragated water fountains, public schools, public bath houses, restaurants, public libraries and rail cars - "Ours is not a racial cause. It's a rule-of-law cause."
Beating civil rights protestors - "Ours is not a racial cause. It's a rule-of-law cause."

But he's right in this case. This country is not Mexico's dumping ground for their poor. If they want to come, then let's work on changing immigration laws with due process instead of letting the illegals blackmail us.

Too many of the illegal supporters only see these people as voters likely to vote Democrat. What ever happened to doing things the right way? I guess that's only for the fools who believe they have to follow the law.

You can be "right" for the wrong reasons. There are not many illegal supporters, just people who don't hate. I don't know anyone who sees tham as potential voters, just people. If anything Rove and Bush have made Mexicans a top priority as a new voting block for years, it's no secret.

Yes, they are so conscious of it as to be obsessed by it sometimes. They see it even where it often does not exist. Because they were so grievously wronged in the past many have become conditioned to automatically throw down the race card when faced with any sort of societal adversity or challenge. But try telling them that. . .

Sometimes the one you perceive as your enemy is the one who can truly see your flaws and vulnerabilities.

I'm so fvcking sick of every problem being about racism in this country. I guess it's just human nature to generalize and paint everything with a broad brush.

The thing is, in his mind, he actually believes what he is saying. In his mind it is truth. . .fact. Just like the war on terror is a war against bad people, not against a religion. . .

The fact is that since just about all the people he claims are breaking the law also happen to be of Mexican/Hispanic origin (in the case of the immigration "debate"), it can't HELP but look like a racist movement. If a generalization could be made, it could be said that "not all Mexicans are illegals, but all illegals are Mexicans." And likewise in respect to terrorists, "Not all Muslims are terrorists but all terrorists are Muslims." Not 100% true statements to be sure, but close enough to illustrate my point. It is true enough that any outcry against illegal immigrants can be tainted to look like a outrage against a specific ethnic group of people. . .Mexicans.

Personally I don't care if you have golden blonde hair, blue eyes, and speak flawless English but you entered the country illegally somehow from Norway or something. . .get in back of the line, bub! But the facts are plain and simple as the nose on my face. . .illegal Norwegians aren't the problem here! Granted they need to be deported if they are found just like everybody else, but why is it racist or biggoted to point out the obvious!?

There are illegals here from just about every country you can think of however the majority seems to be from mexico and china. I don't care where you come from or what you look like. If you've entered this country illegally you need to be deported especially if you've been using public social services which adds to the drain on our resources. Its no great mystery why the cost of health care has skyrocketed over the last few years between illegals using the system along with corporate greed. I don't hate people just because they might look a certain way however I do believe in the rule of law. These people have broken our laws now they want to protest in our streets for things they have no right to as an illegal alien. That really pissed me off. You don't break into another persons home and start raising hell when you get caught. Before that I was somewhat sympathetic to them however since they started protesting I want to see them all deported.

Is it hate to want to try and give the peoples of whole world an equal chance to immigrate into this country? I don't think so.

Maybe I've just gotten too cynical, but I don't believe that politicians ever do anything anymore without keeping one eye on "the vote" angle.

In my opinion, handing all the illegals citizenship so they can vote would instantly invalidate the election results. They might as well just put signs outside the polls warning voters, "Vote at your own risk. This election is rigged." Oh we can't win the election fairly so let's abuse our powers as law makers to conjur ourselves up some new voters. . .That's like the scabs in a union strike. First our companies and corporations want to give our jobs to illegal aliens. . .now our government wants to give them our votes! I say FVCK THAT!

[EDIT] And for the record. . .I mow my OWN damn lawn.

Yeah - they think because they're not W-H-I-T-E that they'll automatically vote Democrat and love diversity and hate war and guns and eat organic veggies and never hug Children with Nuclear Arms. I'd love to know how many Mexicans - devoutly Catholic, ferociously family-oriented, and macho to a fault - are going to come out and vote for gay marriage, or support abortion rights.

It's sad. The Left used to be about making sure working Americans got an even break. Now the Democrats are the party of Never Ever Offending Minorities No Matter What So Don't Even Think About Arguing With Us You Racist Nazi.

I want to know where in the Democratic Party it mandates that the poor must suffer from massive poverty growth. I know it's in the Republican agenda to keep wages down, but I don't understand how Illegals consuming our medical and educational programs while lowering wages is supposed to be the platform of the impoverished in this country.

If I look at how it is today, both parties are crushing the poor and siding with the motto of draining wealth from America and giving it to the rest of the world all while our cost of living increases and our wages don?t. All while our automatic welfare programs are being over run with millions of impoverished foreigners.

I don't understand why the Left and the media so enthusiastically side with the illegals, when their very presence undermines many of the best things the Left has fought for and won for working Americans. Actually I do understand; they want the 12 million votes and they no longer care about the rest of us very much. After all, the assumption is that the blacks and other existing minorities will always vote Democrat no matter what, because Everyone Else is a Racist.
