Minor Time Zone Issue

Zuni, I just noticed that there's a minor time zone issue with FT4. When you reply to a message, in the top bar that lists the parent post's topic and creation date, it lists the original Eastern time zone creation date, instead of being offset for the time zone the replying user is set up in. It's no big deal, since most people already know the time a thread was created, but it's something worth adding to the bug list for the next version.

I'd consider incorrect time listings an immediate fix thing, not a wait for the next version thing. It may not make much difference on this forum, but it might be important elsewhere.

But...I just set my timezone to mountain time, normally I'm Eastern, and all the times adjusted in this thread to compensate.

Or wait. Did you mean just the date? Like 1AM Eastern is 6/29/03 but it's still 10PM 6/28/03 on the Left coast but still shows the Eastern date of the 29th?

LE, reply to a thread, then take a look at the yellow box above the reply field that lists the topic you're replying to, and when it was created. For me, this thread is showing up as having been created at 1:09am on the 29th, which would be correct if I was on the east coast, but I'm on the west coast, so it should say 10:09pm on the 28th.
