Dialup isn't *that* bad. 😛

I will admit that text based is much, much faster, though. 😉
 
don't know whats wrong with yours but mine always loads JUST the visible window... whenever i click and drag, it always has to load the surrounding tiles

Yep.

Looks like i'm in the same boat as DrPizza... dial-up or satallite.

I gave up on Google maps for the same reason.
