minor question about RAM...?

i just got new RAM and they come with a sticker on each stick. should i take off the sticker b4 i use them, or does it matter?
 
Actually, Depending what is on the sticker, some of the resellers put them on to ID their RAM, later. So, you might want to leave it alone, especially if there is supposed to be a lifetime guarantee on the RAM.
 
I would leave it on just for identifying it later. A lot of times the stick's model and such are on the stickers, and if you wanted to sell it or troubleshoot it would be nice to know what type of memory it was.
 
yeah...its Mushkin 128 MB PC133 rev3, and they give a lifetime warrantee. so i'll leave the stickers on...thanks everyone.🙂
