I just got a new GeForce4 and I was cleaning my computer of ATI files.
But everytime I delete the dll, etc... files from my System32 folder, they keep reappearing.

Anyone know how to permanently get rid of those suckers?

What OS are you using?

There is a guide to removing old Ati driver remnants over at Rage3d Forums.

It keeps reappearing because of the files in the dllcache folder (plus system file protection in winxp). Grab a drivercleaner utility (it supports both nVidia and ATI) or rename the extentions of the files you want to delete in the dllcache folder (i.e., .dll to .bak or .old).
