Minor IE 5.0 annoyance

Was running IE 5.5 - reverted to 4.0 - downloaded 5.0 from M$.
I thought if I typed something in the address bar, i.e. "google" and then hit <control + enter> that IE would fill in the "http://www. - .com". This does not happen.
This is only a minor inconvenience, but is aggravating me because I can't figure out what I did wrong.

Not sure about the key-binding approach, but you can always turn on "auto-complete" for easy navigating.

I don't know about 5.0, I'm running 5.01sp2. With 5.01, all you need to do is type "whatever".com & hit enter. No need to touch the Control button. -kd5-
