3.2 megapixels of digicam goodness with 3x optical zoom all in a compact body... Too bad it uses MMC cards, Too expensive.

Ack... $449 at amazon... Too much for my blood.

Nice digicam though, If I had money to spend this would be top of my list.
 
argh anyone recommend a camera? I want atleast a 4MP with both manual and automatic modes. I was looking at the sony f9 but no manual modes plus stupid memory stick has 128mb limit. what do you guys think about the Nikon 5000? how big is it, I want something small I can take anywhere.
 
I was actually looking at canon s45 which is't out yet I think. My two choices so far are Nikon 5000, and canon s45.
 
If your asking about underwater case for the s30/40/45 line there is one available but I've seen it at $200! 😱

Don't know about the minolta.

best in class
 
I have the S230, and like it much better than the F100, which my friend has. Better battery life, etc...

The S45 is out now, I was just looking at it over at Ritz Camera at a local mall here in San Diego. Very nice camera!

It is amazing how small those cameras are. They are almost too small for me. I got the S330 instead 🙂
 
I would be skeptical of the Dimage Xi, given the mediocre image quality of the Dimage X. I would stick to the Elphs, to the extent I want a teeny digicam.
