for the record, this printer is not getting along with my emulex netque print server. i broke down and just connected it via the USB port directly to a computer. it works great. so beware, it may not work with printer servers on parallel =(

Just for those that care, this is a windows based printer (like software modems) which also may explain some of the problems with print servers.

Are you sure this is a WinPrinter? The specs say it has 8MB SDRAM, is compatible with 3rd party Ethernet interfaces, and has a built-in typeface. I'm not too familiar with WinPrinters, but I wouldn't think a WinPrinter would have any of that.
