Put on some short shorts, a skimpy top and some spiked heels then find yourself a spot at the corner of Walk and Don't Walk. I guarantee you will mee a lot of interesting people.

Hmmm, I am kinda short on cash right now - super idea!!! 😉

I hear lake street is where the money is at 😉

Another shout out from Ramsey (yes, I know FacelessNobody). I too, pass through Arden Hills on my way to work every Saturday.

EDIT: I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that you're a Tool fan. They've been one of my favorite bands for a long time.

I'm in southwest minnesota... but pretty soon I'll be in hutchinson and that aint too damn far from the cities...

LOL, yeah. I used to be toolgirl. But I don't really go by that anymore, it doesn't fit my personality anymore I think. So I changed it to my name 🙂

Going to Ridgewater?

I went there for a year. It was a nice school. I was there when they were remodeling and the school looks pretty decent now. My girlfriend is going to school in Hutch now. She'll get done the end of this month.

Hutch is a nice, clean town. Would be an excellent place to raise a family. Nice having the Cities only an hour away.

I love living and working in Minneapolis. 🙂 I live right in the city adjacent to downtown. I can tell you all sorts of places that might appeal to someone?casual or fine restaurants with good food, meat-markets (like Tropix and ?Drink?), a gay bar where straight women go just to dance without getting hit on non-stop (Gay 90?s), expensive up-tight wanna-be playa places complete with dress-codes (like ?Escape?), casual bars with good food (like Pizza Luce, Sawatdee, Nye?s, Rudolph?s, Green Mill ?Too? in uptown), casual bars that you don?t necessarily go to for the food (like The Lounge, Lyle?s, Uptown Bar and Grill, Mortimer?s), casual punk bars (like Triple Rock), heavy-metal bars (like Urban Wildlife), good places to see a show (like The Quest, Fine Line, Cabooze, and First Ave/7th St Entry.) It?s all here.

Yep, that's where I'm headed to.

I've got a friend going there right now... I checked it out and it seems to be a pretty damn nice school, and the town itself is pretty nice also.

Go to Triple Rock on Thursday. Some good friends of mine are playing there (minus story). It's only $6 and it will be a good show.

You can listen to music samples Here.

How is Minneapolis? I've never been. I've played with a few bands from that area when they have come through town and most have been good. I suggest you get out and check out the local music scene!

Well... I know who to call now when I want to go party. 🙂 I've been to Pizza Luce and they've got really good pizza. Escape was pretty good also, although it just seemed like a yuppy place. The Quest is ok, but also seems like it's mostly teens and pre-college people trying to get some. Or maybe I'm just getting old!

Know any place with local music that is of the acoustic version?

Jam some of your homeboy, Prince! 😉 I was at a Prince concert last night (Biloxi, MS). He's still got it.

That depends on who's playing.

A hell of a lot of bars. Coffee shops too. It depends on the booking, I guess, but there are a lot of places that tend to book more jazz and blues. There are a lot of other places that will book just about anyone. What types of music do you prefer to see? Any particular bands.

just thought i'd bump this up the top
