miniPCI card

Looking for input on how well these internal network cards work compared to the regular PCMCIA cards.

Is the range just as good as the regular PCMCIA cards?

Specifically the Dell 1300 miniPCI card that will go in an Inspiron 8200

If the antennae are built into the Mini-PCI card, then I'd have to say probably not. If the Inspiron has a link to an antenna on the side of the screen or something, then it's possible. I'd do the Mini-PCI card for convienence's sake. The difference can't be that great.

I have not had any bad luck with the internal cards, we buy them all the time.
One of the best aspects for us is that they are leased laptops, so Dell fixes them when they break.
