Hi,

Im looking to buy a Wicked Laser where it will be sent to the UK------from their US warehouse. They only provide 3 months warranty and I was wondering if there is a minimum warranty they need to give (1 year?) for such a product. I mean manufacturing issues not accidental damage of course...

Thanks,
Joe

Is that the same for a purchase within the US to a US address?

I think in the EU there are warranty requirements for example...

Thanks,
Joe

Do NOT buy anything from these hacks!

Check out the WL threads here.

Novalasers, Laserglow, Optotronics, and Lucent offer far better quality and service at very reasonable prices. Caveat Emptor!

I had bought the Photonic Disruptor for 300 today since it was on clearence sale (usually 600). I heard generally good things about it - though I have now canceled my order as a will check my other options for around 300 dollars on other websites - thanks.

Still interested about the warranty though - most seem to provide only 3 months :(

I'm more curious as to why somebody would name themselves "Knobjockey".

I made it as a joke/temporary account a while back but when I forgot my old account I switched to this one - never moved back since :)

Perhaps, but do you really jock the knob?

And to answer your question, they don't offer anything more than the 3 months, and are not required to do so. I wouldn't recommend buying from them if you don't like the warranty.
