Hello,

Im building a PC with a A7n8x dlx and a 2500+. I will likely add a 5900SE vid card. Can I play Call of Duty and Battlefield and other games like that with 512megs of PC3200? Is that enough? I am getting Corsair 2x256 twinx512 3200LLPT.

Thanks,

cb

Yeah, that should be fine. I run COD on 512 PC133 (in the middle of an upgrade however) and the games ran fine. Shouldn't be any or very little HDD caching with 512MB. Later however, you can upgrade to 1 gig when you get the money and should keep any HDD caching from happening. But, you can probably wait until DOOM 3 and HL2 come out.
