I know ram is cheap and most people throw 4gb in a box without thinking.
But I haven't read any reviews saying how much ram you should have for windows7.
I can't find the search function on the new forums to research first.
Is 2GB enough? is there a large performance increase going to 4GB or higher?
Does anyone know if a sweet spot for ram exists?
My 2 reasons for this are for my HTPC currently running vista and my step-fater wants me to build him a new pc around the holidays (currently running Windows 2000).
thanks!
