When you set the minimum desired frame rate in a game, what does that do? Does it sacrifice image quality to try to maintain that frame rate or something?
Exactly. If, say, you have your desired minimum framerate at 30 fps the game would drop texture quality and complexity a notch so you could have a minimum of 30 fps instead of 10-15 fps with everything maxed out. You want to do this for on-line play most definately.
