Minimum "acceptable" system requirements for WoW?

I've got a Sempron 3100+ (2.0GHz, 128kb cache) and a Radeon X200M (32MB memory allocation)...is that enough for WoW?

The processor will be fine. Not sure about the IGP, thats cutting very close. How much total RAM does your laptop have?

If you don't already own the game, give the trial version a test run to see how it runs.

WoW itself is a fairly low demand game, hardware-wise, though a large amount of RAM is very helpful.

OP, it will work (you should also have about 512mb of ram), but you WILL have to play at a low resolution with that graphics adapter and low details.

Should be fine OP, as schadenfroh already said.
I have tried WoW on a lappy with intel video, plays fine however walking in cities or raids might be a problem, but since you have something other than extreme intel goodness your performance should fair better.

I have a life. The last time I got my WoW 10-day trial offer I quit the game on Day 4.
I'm just thinking of having it installed and a couple guest keys ready for one of those days when I have absolutely nothing to do.

I have 768MB of memory right now...I can allocate up to 128MB of system memory to the X200M but since I don't game (at all) on the laptop I'd like to leave it at 32MB to leave more room for Windows.

you should be alright, OP. I have a laptop with less specs than you and running with an ATI IGP 9000. (yes it is an IGP). And I already know 200m > 9000. So you should be set. Keep in mind you will have issues in cities and large raids. Things like IF, AH, and large 40 Man raids will require a little more beef in the Graphics department. But for solo, small groups and 5 man instances you should be set. Hard to believe but WoW's requirements aren't that high. What you do need is at least one full gig of ram (2 is preferable).

It should run fine. Anything over 512MB is acceptable for WoW...not stellar - you'll want 1GB for smoothness- but the game will be very playable. Just stay away from Alterac Valley

WoW can run on pretty much anything provided you have enough RAM and your processor is better than a PIII.

If it helps you, I have a Dell 5150 and the specs are:

3Ghz Processor
1GB Ram
64MB ATI Radeo Graphics card

On average, I get around 20ish fps. Not bad - playable but not great.

My laptop has a 1.6Ghz AMD64 processor, the 200m with 128mb on it, and 512MB of ram.
It's unplayable in Iron Forge (any of the large cities really) and it's choppy in smaller cities. But this is at highest resolution. It's quite playable at low resolution
I'm sure if I upgraded to 1GB it would be fine

Drop a few bucks and get a 6600 GT or something. That'd help alot with the frame rate.

I'm pretty sure the OP is talking about a laptop as a 200M is usually regarded as a laptop IGP. But you're right, if it was a desktop an el cheapo used graphics card would be worlds better than an IGP setup.
