Minimalist HTPC Recommendations?

Ditch the celeron and get a p4

also, consider getting a tv tuner that can do mpeg2 encoding.. such as the hauppage win tv pvr models

Like I said, I'd like to keep cost down. I think the Celeron should be enough power, and I'd rather not have to buy another TV card.

Do you really believe this won't be powerful enough to handle simple PVR?
