I'm thinking about getting a MD player and I have a question. Can I put songs on a MD, then erase them, and then re-record?

Also, can you try to convince me why I should get a MP3 player also? Thanks. Apprecaite the help. :)

MDs are rewriteable...as many times as you wish...

dont get an MP3 player, its a total waste of money, i would much rather wait for dataplay which is due out this summer

http://www.dataplay.com

edit: um, i like minidiscs...a lot...simply cuz its small, holds just enough music, great quality...IMO better than mp3 players, just never took an interest in them...but the original rio volt, but sold it a month later cuz it was just too big and bulky...thinking about slimX, but still too big for my taste...dataplay discs, not rewriteable, holds 250 or 500 mbs...and is the size of a quarter...

why i dont like Dataplay(besides the long wait)
Fear not, fans of downloadable MP3, AAC, and WMA files, the iDP-100 will play your tunes. However, these files get converted to the secure CK format before they're burned onto a DataPlay disc via USB. The device writes to disc as fast as flash players write to flash memory, but the conversion from MP3 to CK takes extra time. We can't tell you exactly how long because we haven't tested the device's recording capabilities, but hopefully it won't be too much of a drag.
