For computer use you want side cutters instead of diagonal cutters as the side cutters can get closer to the PCB or component. I assemble my own kits from various parts as most of the packaged ones like that from radio schlock aren't made up of particularly good tools. Almost all Phillips screws on PCs are #2 very few of any other size, though nice to have on hand. About the only metric nut driver (or socket) you would need for computers is the 5mm most others are 3/16" or 1/4". Number 8 torx is useful too other that that, very little torx on PCs except old boxes from Compaq, IBM, etc. So you can see that the RS kit was put together by someone with little or no PC experience - may be good for the kitchen "stuff" drawer or glove box in the car, but that's about it...

I gather my tools individually or in kits by type (like a set of technical screwdrivers or nut drivers). Sears has nice technical drivers and miniature pliers (long nose, side cutters, etc.), but it will be difficult to make up a kit from sears for $25. or less unless you watch the sales.

The Rosewill kits ($25. and $30.) seem to hit the needs better and the tools don't look too bad.
