It looks like there's only one "model 3" car in the $11.50 pack.

This is a pretty good price compared to Toyeast's $10 price for a BitChar-A OEM generic car, but Albert PC only has one frequency available, so you can't buy two and race them. Nor can you pick your colors.

Fun cars at a good price, just make sure they'll do what you expect.

My brother-in-law just brought 2 of these back from Japan. Apparently, they are a craze there. The box is in all-Japanese. I didn't think these things would make it over here for a few more months, but they're popping up in our local toy stores. At a local toy store, they just got a small shipment of a few cars, engines, bodies, and tires. I got the fastest engine that's out. Loads of fun.

I got a Blue Skyline GTR and it came with the 2nd fastest (out of 3) engine. My bro-in-law got a Yellow RX7 with the slowest engine.

I recommend getting one of these for home or work. I haven't seen it yet, but i heard they also have tracks and stuff for racing. Pretty cool. Btw, in my opinion, it's most fun driving it on a wooden table that has just be "Pledged".

I've made one order from toyeast that worked out great (I got one of their $40 Boosted Bits with 3.0 motor and 4 channel controller packages plus 11 of the $10 OEM Bits for gifts and for people in my office). The consensus seems to be that they're great, but their stock does fluctuate a lot, so you may need to check in a few times for them to have what you want (at this moment the OEM Tomy Bit page is empty). Shipping was a little over 30% on my order ($144 order with $50 shipping), so factor that into your calculations.

One last random tip: The Bits have 4 available frequencies (the US versions from Hasbro also have 4 frequencies, but one is different from the Oriental versions). If you want to race cars together they need to be on different frequencies, so read the product descriptions carefully.

I definitely would not recommend ToyEast. I ordered 4 cars from them and 1 came in DOA. They never responded to my emails and they use a separate company for credit card purchases which made disputing it a nightmare.

The fancy controllers are 4 frequency - you can use the one controller with any of the Japanese made Bits by moving a switch on the controller. The controller is also required to access the 2-speed "boost" mode on the slightly fancier car.

For those who live in NY, they have the same exact Bitchars at Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets. The store is World of Fun. Each costs $15. I bought one on Saturday, then came back on Sunday for one more. They're fun! My son was playing with it at the food court at the mall and people keep approaching asking where and how much we got it for. Passing kids' eyes are glued to them, too.

If you go to Woodbury Commons, remember to bring a tiny philips screwdriver and a pair of AA batteries, so you can test right away and exchange if defective.

Take a look at your local RadioShack for "ZipZaps" They have several different cars and accessory kits.

I emailed the company to find out why they only take paypal or money orders. I told them it seems a little shady.

In the computer section of the site they refer to using visa through paypal. I don't know how that would work.

The prices are a absolute steal!!!!

Thats probably why I didn't buy from them. If they took my credit card I would least have recourse.

:(

site. Our web site take Visa/Master through paypal.com
If you are having deficalty with paypal.com you can
also send us Money Order.

Thanks!

These are fun as heck to mod.

Me and my friends got the radio shack ones and we litterly drag race them. We replaced the battery with a capacitor, and upped the voltage and what not. We even had to weight the car down as the wheels would spin out :)

I bought one of these from this company, and was satisfied overall. There was some confusion with my shipping info, but when I emailed them to clear it up the response was quick and polite. The guy said he tried to email me when the order went through but that it must not have gotten to me somehow. Sounds fishy, I know, but considering how helpful they were the second time I think he's being honest. However, the car isn't a bitcharg, its a generic one. Still works great, tho, and the battery lasts quite a while.
