playstations have had and will probably always have just 2 controller ports, aside from sports games their not too big of an issue. playstation is just not the multiplayer console gc and xbox are.

Initially they claimed it was to preserve backward-compatibility, but it turns out they just want to sell you the multi-tap. 😛

Well, they were originally mine! 🙂 I have a total of 16 various consoles. I give him my consoles as I get newer ones. The only one I actually got for him was a gamecube. Then I got one for myself.🙂
