It was nice to meet both Manimal and Ballmode last week. Manimal's shop installed my KW coilovers and we all went out to a nice lunch. I'll probably be back out there next spring when I want to add some go-fast goodies. Thanks for the prompt and professional service.

like an idiot I forgot to take a pic of Ballmodes Wrx when it was here ><

Funniest part of the day was talking about the Castiel buys a GTR thread and the ATOT thread about mice in the air conditioning.

Good times!

Hey Manimal I actually ended up raising the rear a little because it kept scraping on my driveway. They ride is not quite dialed in to what I want but I am still playing with the rebound and damping settings. IMHO Eibachs are a bargain because they kill the wheel gap but not the ride quality.

BTW I just wrecked it this morning, not 'much' damage with estimates from $800 to $2200 but it will be in the shop for a few days.

Oh crap man where is the damage? Did you already send it to the body shop?

Driver's side front bumper. The octogenarian in front of me decided to unexplainably stop in a continuous right turn lane. I should have passed her when she was going 40 in a 45.

I have/had a $100 deductible and it was in a quality shop within hours of the wreck. Since they were on the 'approved' list for my insurance they don't have to wait so an insurance adjuster to physically inspect and authorize each repair and able to get started immediately. I hoping to to be back in it by next week.

On the bright side I will have a brand new bumper cover and I get the front lip installed. With Nissan's notorious soft paint it needed to be repainted anyway.

Glad it wont take too long. Did you get a picture of the accident damage?

I am slowly starting to believe that most old people just dont have the reflexes to drive safely after 70.
