Mini-DV Camera Opinion....

I was looking at the Canon Elura2, it seems like a pretty sweet camera, just wanted to know if anyone had any comments on it.

I have the Sony DCR-PC7 Mini DV. I have enjoyed this camera for two years now and it's great for Firewire digital editing. I'm just an enthusiast, nothing even close to a professional. But I like being able to work in the computer as it controls the camera. I move all my DV to CDs, getting anywhere from 20 minutes of high quality video on a disk to over an hour of video at standard NTSC resolutions. My camera is fairly low res due to it's age, but I recommend DV over VHS(C). Don't know if this helps.
