When are you all going to realize that not everyone who asks a question is looking to kryo freeze their CPU to get their Duron 600 over 2ghz, and not everyone wants to spend $50 on a fan. For a non overclocked T-bird the Mini Copper Orb will more than do the trick bringing no load temps to the low 40's.
I've a Copper Orb which I tried for the hell of it (got it on Ebay for $14)
Just using the generic white thermal grease, my 1.33 was running right at 50deg C. during normal use. It would go up to 55~57 after few hours of playing UT. Nothing spectacular but certainly well within acceptable range.
The clip was bit difficult to put on but it was very secure once in place. The fan is very quiet which was a plus.
I'm thinking about slapping on a 80mm on top and see what happens. 😀
Don't use an Orb. You also don't have to spend mega bucks for a high-performance HSF. The Vantec I have (look in the signature) was $25 shipped and it is sufficient to cool my CPU even when I feed it 2.35v! 😎
For $25 you can also get an Alpha PAL6035 hsf from 2cooltek and the alpha is known for their high quality. It also has a copper inlay on the bottom. I would stay away from the TT orbs.
