Min system requirements for a video card?

My friend who is an avid internet poker player wants to do dual monitors so that he can play more hands at once. The easiest solution for him would be an AGP card that supports dual VGA. I checked newegg and I found a GF 5200 that seems to meet his needs. However, it notes that it requires a p3 as a minimum. Since when did video cards have min system requirements? I believe his system is a PII - 400 MHZ. Am I going to run into problems when I go to install a card like this on his machine?

The processor won't be a problem, but the interface will. You'll have to check the card and make sure it supports AGP 2x, which would be the highest his machine supports. If the card won't do 2x, you'll have to get him a PCI card if you want to stick with the 5200, otherwise an older dual monitor card that does 2x.

stick in another PCI video card... will do the trick..
5200 might not be AGP 2x compliant or might have issues with the older mobo
