Milwaukee Job Site Radio $75+$5 ship

For the power tool junkies (like me) - Milwaukee's Job Site Radio . I bought one this summer when Milwaukee was giving away a battery with some tools , works corded or cordless . Does not charge batteries however .

Glad to see a fellow tool nut on the board...

This radio is better than the Dewalt, but both radios are pretty basic. The Milwaukee seems more like a "Power Tool" and has digital tuning. My little Sony "boombox" is ten years old and has the typical jobsite injuries, such as broken antenna, missing battery cover and paint splatters. I wish these jobsite radios were around when I worked construction, I would have gotten one just for the cool factor.

I have the Dewalt radio. And I can say with authority that it sucks as a radio. And I mean sucks like a Hoover. Big time!

As a charger, it is good. I think they just added the speakers and tuner as an afterthought.


<--- Owns 24v Dewalt power tools, and the 18v Milwakee Recip saw. I love it, it will cut though a brick. The Dewalt 24v Recip saw I have will cut though an engine block though 😛

I tried something similar with Amazon the last time I purchased something from these people (14.4 volt Makita kit) , Amazon would not touch it 😕

Evadman , you should try the Milwaukee 9079-22 18 volt impact wrench - 240 ft. lbs of torque - bad to the bone . It's like something like Tim The Tool Man Taylor would use , except it works correctly .

I tried that Rob . The tool I purchased before was a 14.4 volt kit from Makita model DK1035DL . Amazon was $799 , www.heavydutytools.net and a couple others were around $300 , Amazon would not price match.
