You there, xj0hnx and matt0611. May you both live forever.

So, you can't answer the question? Or is it that you know that if you do your argument goes out the window, so it's easier to pretend some line from a movie is some kind of insult?

Really? Who does?

The Rich can create jobs but it depends what your idea of Rich is I guess. There are a lot of people out there who are flat ass broke who are involved in a start up who hit it big .

You are a bottom feeder. You will never amount to anything more than a bottom feeder, even if you had all of eternity to live.

And, it isn't the act itself of your constant brown nosing, it's the fact that you look forward to being an ass kisser for a portion of our society that does not care for you.

You honestly make me sick to my stomach.

Wealth addiction is the worst of all of them. It is the same sickness as drug addiction. At least drug addicts usually only take down their immediate friends/family while in denial. The rich screw us all to get their fix while coldly manipulating whole populations. Capitalism is just another form of gangsterism and vehicle for corruption.

Did RedUnderUrBed come back? I've not seen him in some time.

Is it possible to get a show of hands from people in this thread who've taken a single econ course (excluding Legend and eskimo)?

Nope, didn't think you'd be able to answer a simple question, thanks for reinforcing the fact that you are nothing more than another mindless, brainwashed, typical, progressive drone, capable of nothing more than flinging hyperbole, and insults to cover for your stupidity instead of engaging in an honest discussion.

When do those flat ass broke people that are involved in start ups, start creating jobs for others? Is it before or after they make enough money to hire others? That's a rhetorical question by the way.

Typical inbred vomit misusing a point made in the English language.

Awwww is wittle Macumass a wittle mad? y u mad bro?

You need to let it go, your misplaced anger is not helping your cause at all. Once you accept the fact that the icky people with money are the ones that create jobs, you can get on with actually making a difference, but until then you're just another ineffectual blow hard that is part of the problem, not the solution.

You are slime. And, I am pretty stupid for even addressing your awful stance on how to treat other human beings.

Rot in the filth you enjoy rolling around in, you disgusting swine fingerman slave. You and the rest of the self proclaimed elitist jokes on these boards.

You should wipe the foam from the corners of your mouth, you might get some on your keyboard and ruin it, then we wouldn't be able to laugh at you. You don't know the first thing about me, you are exactly what you cry about, a judgmental, elitist, foaming at the mouth, shitbag. People like you are a dime a dozen.

Dude, what? Show me a single rich meth addict. Heck, show me a meth addict that isn't hawking stolen goods on the street corner to buy more.

Rest of item A is equally retarded. Item B, is idiotic as well. If you live in NYC, for example, a 500K take home pay is barely scrapping by. I'm sure I seem like I make a lot with my ~40K a year, when the MCDs worker looks at me.

BTW, millionaires do spend money, relative to their income, just like anyone else.
Barely scraping by? I live in manhattan and make a little over a tenth of that with my wife combined, and we are more than scraping by. We're not even that bad off...still have to work to save cash, but it's definitely livable. Have you ever been to NYC? Cause that's insane. $500K ANYWHERE is living it up. Hands down.

wwbywb?

Most of the sub $10 million dollar club are spending a lot. I don't know why the poor always think the rich are just money hoarders.

Also making a million a year has got to be nice, but you are still at a level where you scale to match usually and still aren't truly wealthy.

You may have a $5million dollar home, a few $80-200k vehicles, more expensive clothing and with that comes more maintenance and faster replacement cycles.

When you break $50-100 million unless you are buying multiple estates you tend to have a lot of excess then.

Most of the very wealthy I know donate a lot of that money and pay a lot in taxes.

Where do you live in NYC that two of you can truly live on only $50k? Are you working under the table or something?

There are tons of places in NYC where two people can live on $50k. The north of Queens would work fine for that, maybe Fort Greene, south Brooklyn, etc. You aren't going to be living it up, but you can definitely do it.

He says he lives in Manhattan though, so maybe Harlem or Washington Heights? There are some decent places in both of those, but I would still imagine you need a roommate.

Of course it would have to happen after they get their Capital base established.

What kind of millionaires are these?

the type that have that corner office and receive a paycheck totaling approximately a million at the end of the year

or

the small business owner with 7-10 employees that grosses approximately a million at the end of the year

Both are millionaires, right?

That's just it, when one makes claims of manhattan and NYC the hint is one of the nice places, not hovels. My buddy lives in NYC and just rent is $10k

Upper West Side/Morningside. I was on 109th and broadway (which is pretty ghetto anyway) and rent was $2000/mo for about 650 sq ft 2BR apt. Like I said, not living it up, but definitely not completely broke. Median income for that neighborhood is around $55K /year. We were probably just north of $60K or so. You can go right across the next block on riverside and have an awesome apartment for $3000-4000 / mo to rent or $800K-1.2 mil to own. Anyone pulling over $100K will be very comfortable, over that is living it up.

Again, if you're pulling $500K / year, you're rich as shit and certainly not "scraping by". Anyone who says otherwise is on another freaking planet.

Well I mean I live in NYC (Brooklyn) and my rent is about $10k, but don't be fooled by Manhattan. There are plenty of shitholes in it.

$2,000 isn't bad at all! I live in north Williamsburg, surrounded by all the hipsters (no, I'm not a fucking hipster), and our rent is about that much.

$500k a year is not rich as shit. You can live very comfortably, like I said though the nicer home, cars, etc quickly deplete that.

The poor argue that those purchases are excessive in one breathe and then the rich hoard their money in the other....much of the time while the poor are driving cars and wearing clothes beyond their true means.
