We're not even that bad off...still have to work to save cash, but it's definitely livable. Have you ever been to NYC? Cause that's insane. $500K ANYWHERE is living it up. Hands down.

Most of the sub $10 million dollar club are spending a lot. I don't know why the poor always think the rich are just money hoarders.

Also making a million a year has got to be nice, but you are still at a level where you scale to match usually and still aren't truly wealthy.

You may have a $5million dollar home, a few $80-200k vehicles, more expensive clothing and with that comes more maintenance and faster replacement cycles.

When you break $50-100 million unless you are buying multiple estates you tend to have a lot of excess then.

Most of the very wealthy I know donate a lot of that money and pay a lot in taxes.
