Miller is the best tasting of the cheap beers

miller is better than bud or coors, but that's like saying burning all your fingertips on something hot is better than being kicked in the face by a horse.

yeungling or rolling rock for the cheap win.

Miller High life > Bud + Coors

Miller light > Bud lite + Coors lite

Miller Genuine Draft is also good, but cant be considered a cheap beer since it's more than $0.50 each in a 12pack.

Discuss NOW!

mgd now has a low calorie version, btw

anyways, i agree... miller = best cheap beer company

miller lite (not "miller light"... you're thinking of "bud light" or "coors light") ftw

I can't stand the taste of Bud or Coors. Miller is ok, but still not very pleasant. Regular Michelob is alright, but the ultra stuff is horrible.

Yuengling is the only "cheap" beer I actually enjoy.

Not much a fan of beer but on a real hot day an Ice Cold Miller is refreshing.

If beer is the only adult beverage available for imbibing I prefer Guiness.

Of the cheap beer you listed Miller Lite is my favorite. But i dont ever buy cheap beer when im in a liqour store. Only drink it at bars/restuarants if its all they have.

I can't stand Miller Light..

However, there is a restaurant down the street that has $5 pitchers all the time, so I do drink it occasionally.

If I'm drinking cheap, shitty beer, I usually have Bud Light. Will go down to Natty, prefer some Yeungling.

I actually liked Old Milwaukee Light when I was buying cheap beers back in school.

Now I just get Coors Light since everyone always has it on tap in Colorado.

I don't care what kind of beer you get, tap >> bottle

I would have to agree that Miller is the best of the "shitty beer" selection.

If only MGD came in 8-pack pounders like Bud Light does...

Eh. I brew my own imperial stouts, coffee stouts, dunkelweis, and ales. I also enjoy the occassional $10 a bottle abbey ales from Belgium. But I still can enjoy a PBR or MGD light.

Even though I can afford a steak for every meal, doesn't mean I'd want one. Sometimes a cheeseburger just sounds better.

x2(well I USED to brew)

high life is my cheap beer of choice, 12 bottles for less than I can the others in cans.

or a 40 on occasion 😀

other than that, reds, IPA's, ale's.

I'm visiting a friend in Milwaukee until Thursday. We're thinking about a Miller tour. Maybe this will bring back my 18-19 year old love for MGD...

Labatt Crystal is a nice light beer.

Of course living in Canada makes getting these beers easy.

Same here, except I don't exactly live in Canada.

Cheers

Oddly, the same beer in Canada doesn't necessarily taste the same as the imported version of the beer. Head over the border, Mosh, and pick up a case of Labatts, then compare it side by side with the Labatts from your local store.

Miller Lite is the beer of choice if you want to get buzzed/hammered but want more than just fizzy piss. It actually has a "beer" flavor to it.

You'd have to be an idiot to choose "light" beer to get buzzed/hammered. It's "light" beer because they reduced the calories = reduced the fat grams = took out some of the alcohol. (Else, watered it down, as several varieties seem)

I'm stickin with Black Label from now on 🙂

We used to pick up 7 or 8 kennels a week in college for 3 of us, plus a couple cases of good beer. (and we got a fraternity discount at the distributor. 😛 ) BL has to be the best of the ultra-cheap beers. It was cheaper than any other beverage except water when I was in college.

this is not true at all. as the Yeungling thread shows...this is clearly the best cheap beer.

I'll take a Pabst over Miller * any day.

The simple fact that Miller Light claims "taste a true Pilsner," makes me want to firebomb the entire state of Wisconsin for such pigheaded and ignorant blasphemy.
