Millenium Hotel may be about to collapse!

Apparantly, there is a lot of smoke coming out of it. We don't need another one going.

Last i heard it was under control. I live about a 10 minute walk from there and I can tell you, its chaotic. The Army red-cross is parked in front of my house as are many emergency vehicals. It is indeed a very sad day for the world.

I stayed at the Millenium Hilton on my honeymoon 3 years ago.

From what I remember its about a block away from the twin towers. Depending on how much stuff fell on it, I think it has a good chance of collapsing as well.

I stayed there in June... a very nice place.. and yes just a block away on the other side of the road...

i walk by the building often when i go to the WTC area. it's right there, so, when the north tower collapsed, and tower 7 collapsed, there is no way that the hotel did not get damaged.

They will probably condemn several buildings in the area due to structural damage. All others will require a ton of engineering to repai.

The 2 towers falling alone was bad enough... Tower 7 & if this falls is just going to be embarassing that when they hit 2 4 fall...

Did any other building besides the towers fall so far? I heard rumors and I was just wondering if the Millenium Hotel would be the first to fall since the towers.
