Milla Jovovich, is she permanently typecast?

for some reason, i'm addicted to her movies, i must have seen ultraviolet 6 times, i've seen Fifth Element 5 times, Resident evil a couple of times.

i guess she was in zoolander, but she seems to be pretty much typecast.

Considering she was a model before she ever did acting, being typecast isn't all that bad. She's not terribly talented, playing one kind of character is enough work for her I'm sure.

Why did you see Ultraviolet more times than Fifth Element? Ultraviolet SUCKED, in a gigantic way. Fifth Element wasn't fantastic by any means, but it was funny, and had decent action in it thanks to Bruce Willis and Chris Tucker.

I wish I had something better than my Sony 27" CRT ....I can imagine how awesome that would look in HD, especially the scenes on the cruise, in that gigantic lobby.

I think I saw most of her movie, RE 1 and 2, UltraViolet, 5th Element, even the Joan of Arc movie years ago.

That's a tough one. I only remember him in Rush Hour and Fifth Element. He was definitely playing up the role.

I love Milla's movies, although I've yet to see Ultraviolet (I suppose I should watch it but everyone says it's really bad). Resident Evil 1 and 2 are a couple of the very few dvd's I own. Don't need 5th Element as that seems to be on tv every week.

As for her being typecast, that's okay at this stage - she makes a great female badass. I wonder what she'll do when she gets a little older though.

I hope they do another Resident Evil movie.

She was in Dazed & Confused, wasn't she? I don't think she had much of a part though

I can't even tell if she's a good actor or not, she pretty much never speaks more than a few lines in her movies. But, she is probably one of the best if not the best at fulfilling the female action role. Watching something like Kill Bill was kinda painful, cause Uma just looks like she doesn't really know what she's doing.

I love milla, and think she's one of the hottest hollywood stars. I even watched ultraviolet just for her, and I'll wholeheartedly agree that it was one of the worst acted, cliche, garbage I've ever seen.
