Funny I actually enjoyed it. I saw it expecting the worst and ended up liking it. Fifth element is much better though.

mmhmm, I enjoyed Ultraviolet for how bad it was. It was one of those enjoyable bad movies. Like Alone in the Dark, pretty much a bad movie but easy to watch. Not to be confused with awesomely bad, which is just a movie that is basically bad because its TRYING to be bad, and ends up being a really enjoyable movie, like Snakes on a Plane.

I think she is one of those gals who happens to be a great actress but because she's hot she gets stuck in certain roles too often. Now it seems like she is typecast and cant get out of it.
.45 wasnt too bad but very few people have seen it.
The Messenger was the same way.

Many other hot, young actresses seem to be in the same boat.

Mila is fine in her typecast action-femme characters. She butchered The Messenger... All other movies I've seen, she doesn't have much stage presence.

As for Ultraviolet, I went "WTF?" when the trailer came out. "Didn't this movie come out already?" Well, turns out it didn't, I was thinking of Aeon Flux, which really looked like the exact thing except with Charlize in place.

At least she is a model with probably the most successful movie career from the 90's into the 2000's... probably because she can do alot of flexing and stunts is what allows her to keep going...

not many women can fill that role

Ultraviolet was awful. So so bad. There are movies that I have watched 6 times that I am not proud of, but good god man, Ultraviolet? That makes even the movies I consider to be guilty pleasures look like Citizen Kane.
