Btw Yankton doesn't think the cpu time can be altered in the app info, where would he find it?
He might be right.
I think it is in app_config.xml that the cpu time can be set. In the example below you could change the <cpu_usage> from 0.02 to something higher like 0.50.

<app_config>
<app>
<name>milkyway</name>
<gpu_versions>
<gpu_usage>1.0</gpu_usage>
<cpu_usage>0.02</cpu_usage>
</gpu_versions>
</app>
</app_config>

That's what I was thinking! Thx Gleem, I'll just quote you to him :).

Added a HD 5830 to the table.

Still many cards missing from the table e.g ATI/AMD R7s some R9s, HD 6930 (rare 1 that!) o/ced 6900s, 4890, 4700s, NVidia 200s series, some 400s, some 500s, some 600s & 700s. Not to mention many CPUs!

I would test my own GTX 260 c216 but the 32bit MW mod fit app is bugged (& hence not automatically available).

i've heard the HD 6930 moniker used before in the FS/FT forums, usually in the context of someone selling an HD 7870 XT/Myst Edition, and describing it as an HD 6930 b/c its performance fell somewhere between a vanilla HD 7870 and the previous gen HD 6950...but i never knew that AMD actually released an HD 6930. after some quick reading, it turns out that the card is not well known b/c it had a limited launch...i don't know if that means that it launched as OE equipment only (for builders such as Dell, Gateway, etc.), or if it perhaps launched in select markets only (not including the US or Europe). either way, good luck tracking down an HD 6930.

Lol yea, AFAIK the HD 6930 was only sold in Russia & China but I'm sure some have escaped from there ;).

Not holding my breath for a 6930 time but I hope we can get more times on the rest of the GPUs.

Hmm, looking through my stats last night & I noticed that the long 213.76 WUs are very rare now, I think I must of looked through over 100 results & only saw about 1/2 a dozen of the longs ones, if that continues then this benchmarking run is coming to an end :(, still we've got a good number of results :).

Oh & btw that means of course output will go up, my previously observed best was ~105k ppd, currently at 107k :).

Added an o/c 5870, o/c 6970 & a 7970M with the very few remaining long 213.76s left!

My output now upto 111.5k now :).

Whoops :$ , I've just noticed that I hadn't clarified which time column should be used, whilst it was obvious for the GPU it wasn't for the CPU!

Going back over my posts in the MW forum I see I chose the run time, but on further investigation it looks like I should of chosen the CPU time for more accurate CPU comparisons (what do you guys reckon?).

Aarrrgg nightmare! I would have to re-calculate mikey's times (fortunately he posted both) & I think for the rest of the CPU times I will just have to put a footnote about it as it will be almost, if not totally impossible to get enough long 213.76 times for CPUs now (unless that WU makes a come back which seems unlikely).

I've decided to leave the CPU times as they are seeing as their isn't much I can do with them now anyway, I will add a note about possible inaccuracies.

I've just checked through 1100 of my valid results & their were only 3 results with long times but I think those were where I down clocked the GPU (for youtube!) or where I was watching a video.

So I think it's safe to say now the 'long' 213.76 credit WUs are extinct, this benchmarking run is now over.
Oh & my RAC has now gone upto 123k thanks to the short 213s! :)

At some point I'll do another benchmarking thread, this time using the MW v1.02 WUs. No plans as to when yet.

Well it looks like the long 213.76 credit WUs are back!
So if you have the results, post the times :)

[update]
Forget that, change of plan as using the 213.76s has become too complicated.
Using the MW v1.02 106.88 WU now for a benchmark, see the new thread.
