when our dollar was at par everything was still ~30 percent more than us prices.
also still waiting for someone to list some benefits.
As someone who does a lot of online shopping this was not the case. For example, when the dollars were on par you could buy computer components at the same price as they were in the US. A $1000 USD hard drive on newegg.com was $1000 CDN on newegg.ca. But now with the current exchange rate that $1000 USD hard drive is $1300 CDN on newegg.ca.
Conversely there are goods you can buy here right now that do not cost 30% more in our dollar than they do in USD.
