That's not what the article says.

Based on Dave's math skills, that's only $2.75 1/2 gal. CA has TX beat.

Two 1/2 gallons in price should never be expected to equal a single 1 gallon.

It would be nice, but the sum of the parts is much greater than the whole:disgust:

But that is what you did to calculate your false $6 gallon in CA.

In other news, I just bought a 2 Liter of soda for the same price I paid for a 12 oz can of the vending machine. What a freaking outrage!!!!!

I still think we should all convert to human breast milk to save us from the evil milk industry!

Right now, the cows have too much power over our livelihoods...

I think we can all agree that whoever services that vending machine you bought the soda from hates America.

Over $5.50 as stated in the artice is close enough to $6 in my opinion.

The owners of the site said you have no interest in the site.

😕 The article stated $2.97 for 1/2 gallon of milk in Sacramento, not $6 for 1 gallon of milk in CA.

Do you read these articles that you post? Or have you not graduated from elementary school yet?

$2.75 for whole milk at Sam's Club on Saturday.

$2.85 for skim at Sam's Club Saturday.

$2.99 for both at Target today. (Man a two-year old drinks a LOT of milk)

Breaking news - Dave is full of crap.

If they ever invent a time machine the first thing I'm going to do is go back to when your Dad was a teenager and kick him in the nuts so hard he'll never be able to reproduce.

The article wrote that the amount charged for a half gallon in the most expensive metropolitain city in the country was 2.97$ per half gallon. You decided to morph that in your own twisted vision of reality and stated '6$ milk in California'.

He didn't say the article was full of crap, he said you were full of crap. Big difference.

Not to disappoint Dave, but milk isn't going to go up; it's going to come down. I was amazed at how much grain prices have come down in just a couple of weeks. Dropped almost $5 per 100 pounds of corn. Of course, it'll have to work its way through the system, and a lot of large-scale dairy operations are more or less independent when it comes to feed.
