your right if you like to sit on a boat for 6 months and kiss the ground when you finally get to get off of it. if you want to interact with civilization i would say air force...

yes im biased im in the air force and i have seen the way the others work rather than having seen what my parents do

Let me know when the Air Force or the Navy (except for their naval infantry ;) ) can hold territory.

So many people want to join the Air Force (especially through OTS) that they end up turning down tons of people.
