Served two years on Active duty from September 18, 2001 to August 15, 2003

I was never in the others to compare it to, but it's pretty dang easy. Was the most fun I had in the service more or less.

Well I dunno, but I think AF might be hardest. It's a serious mind game there, too much for me. I kept thinking whole time of how I'd run it and how ridiculous a lot of it was.

I wasn't even thinking about the mental stuff, just physical. The mental is either on or off...you either are affected by it or you're not. I went in fully understanding it, so I ignored it the whole time. Never bothered me that way...got me into trouble, but didn't bother me.

Closest I get is that I sleep every night next to a retired Army colonel. 🙂 I was beside him when he was commissioned, for the more than 20 years he served, and at his retirement ceremony. It was a glorious ride!
