Ummmm.... you have no clue about the costs of the military. The lion's share of the tax money the federal government collects goes to the military.

No local and state government spends more on entitlements.

Uhhh. Look at how much of the budget goes to entitlement programs. We collect like 3 trillion in taxes, 2 trillion goes straight to SS and medicare and entitlement.

The last 1 trillion which is DISCRETIONARY spending has a big chunk go to defense. Yes you're right the discretionary budget is HEAVY on defense, but look at how much we spend on SS. It's a joke. It's a scam. Sure no one wants to lose their share today, but it's like breaking up in a bad relationship. Hurt someone now or drag out the suffering longer so everyone loses...

What is the total cost of social security or medicare? Get rid of those entitlement programs first. Military is an important thing to cut but there are two balloons that cost more than military.

Besides, we need the military to protect our borders when 2012 comes along and Obama gets the boot.

You lose all credibility when you claim SS as an entitlement. I guess you guys that never worked any length of time outside your parents basement don't understand that folks drawing SS are only getting back money they paid in. I think you should turn over any of that "entitlement" money you have in your savings account.

But by all means, cancel that SS shit, fuck the old people that worked hard and paid in for 40yrs, we need to spend more money being murdering rednecks using our great military might to kill people that fight with rocks and sticks, its SOOOOO fun.
