PMOS: 4067...computer programming...yup...the computer geeks of the Marine Corps. Unfortunately being replaced by civilians in the coming years...don't ask why the USMC wants to pay civilians $100,000+ when they can pay us $20k...

Yes, I'll admit it...we as the Marine Corps are a department of the Navy. Fortunately, we're the MEN'S Department.

Mine was Aviation Antisubmarine Warfare Electronics Technician 3rd Class (AX3). The Navy has done away with this rating now. I worked on the S3 Viking while doing my time and deployed on the USS Independence and the USS Eisenhower.

YN2 unfrocked. (Yeoman 2nd class, but never officially got the advancement before I got out, so I'm sort of in limbo)

<< 29V/31P here. The Signal Corps reworked a bunch of the MOS's back in '93, so mine changed then from 29V to 31P. Microwave Systems Technician, I spent a year at Ft. Gordon, 2 years 1st Signal in Korea, and 2 years 35th Signal at Ft. Bragg. >>

Holy cow, Kham, we were both in Augusta Georgia at the same time! I lived there until 1994.
