do you know any business that gives a military discount? If so, post it up! This could turn into a valuable thread for our military personnel.

in most Military towns, it NEVER hurts as you are checking out to just ask. the worst thing that could happen in they say no!. Here in San Antionio, TX, a LOT of stores will give you the discounts, but you have to ask! ;)

I called up Nextel when i was interested in getting service, and sure enough, they offer discounts for military personnel (10% i think off service, 18% off of parts/accessories).

And a lot of stores that don't, the managers will (most retail chains give managers a bit of leeway with prices).

Like they say, it never hurts to ask.

SprintPCS will give you 5% off your monthly rate. They have an online form you have to fill out, but hey, 5% is 5%.

The only discount I have ever got was I got into a strip club for free. Oh and today I took advantage of the 20% off at Borders to buy some books.

Some banks will give you a lower interest rate on your credit card if you are in the military. Also, the army (and maybe the rest of the military) has its own auto insurance, with cheaper rates.

Yeah, this is true, but the thing is, they've been raising prices, but the discount stays the same. :(

For the Army people here with an AKO account, login and check the announcements. Recently there was an announcement regarding an employee purchase plan for Micro$oft products. From the looks of it, one could save 15-20% off Newegg prices.

Roush Performance is offering a Military discount :)

The Roush military rebate is available through all participating Ford dealerships that sell Roush vehicles. Roush Performance will include most of its models in the program; including: the Stage 3 & 380R Mustangs and most of the other Roush F-150, Mustang and Focus models.
