Turns out when you google silly string this guys website is at the top of the list, so a former Marine emailed him asking for cases of silly string for practical purposes.

lol, looking around on the site, the creator has a lot of idle time on his/their hands huh?

But the use for silly string is kinda cool :thumbsup:

The british use stuff like that too to detect IRA bombs in houses. They use a metal fiber optic wand that glows orange. The wand is only a few strands but it helps their eyes focus and detect trip wires.

I used it about 8 yrs ago for the same purpose, our EOD instructors told us about it. so for our final exercise I brought a couple cans, it made finding tripwires very easy. but not very tactical. and you shouldn't learn to rely on it.
