To be honest, I skipped over everything until it got to the song then I switched tabs. Do people actually watch music videos?

What was wrong with the music video? That was no worse than a broadway play, or even a high school play. It's simply the business she's in, the song wasn't that provocative, and she was more dressed than high school girls on prom.

She doesn't seem to have a singing voice from what I've heard, in all her videos, and the candid kid's choice awards video.

I came in here expecting to make a comment about her promise ring (she had one, right?), but she didn't even do anything that bad. She can keep her Disney contract for now.

You know that video was the result of a room full of gay guys wearing black silk shirts with pink rim glasses saying things like "FEATHERS would be FABULOUS in this scene!", and then some limp dick director saying "Miley you have to sex it up in order for you to break that Hannah Montana thing!"

whoever choreographed it did a good job.

i don't see the problem here... she's 17 years old. not a big deal, people. she's not doing anything gross or anything and it's not like she's humping people or practically naked or anything.

i think most of you are having a problem with the fact that you are used to seeing her as a kiddie icon on the disney channel and now, she's in a britney-esque video. you gotta accept the fact that she's a pop singer who's growing up.

you wouldn't find that video to be very much different than the choreography and costumes of many of the dances 'so you think you can dance'

Britney was also straight up trash, with no one really guiding her. she hit it big when she was green. Had no idea what to expect as she was essentially alone.

Miley grew up in the business. She'll be 1 million % more savvy than Britney.

I want her to release a home made tape that involves anal sex. You know David Letterman would have her on the show just to ask what that was like. Then those bitches on The View would be asking each other "I wonder what that's like" and they each pretend to have no idea; this would be in contrast to political issues where they honestly have no idea.

I think he really came into his own, both commercial and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost.

She was guided..poorly. any britney interview was pretty staged, her answers were clearly scripted.

hey i conceed that one point, her music is better. but as for being a media personality, miley seems far more savvy.
